Christmas Gathering

OK folks, the Christmas Gathering for La Salle friends will be Monday December 22, 2008 at the RockBottom Brewery in Downtown Portland at 7 pm or before (or after). Hope to see you there~!

Videos and Pix . . . Pix and Video!

You'll notice in the right hand column that pix are starting to come in from shutterbugs at the event.

In the "Slideshow" box, you'll see that these new pix have begun replacing the old ones which have been rotating for months. Only 20 can be shown at a time, so as more come in, more will be added and some will be removed.

In the "Reunion Pix LIVE!" box below the slideshow, you can go to the site that is hosting all of the pix. After clicking, note that there will be thumbnails of all the Reunion Pix thus far. They're hard to see and are chopped up a bit. To see them in their full glory, click on the slideshow icon in the upper right. A bold, beautiful slide show will appear and the images will change on their own. If, while in the slideshow, you click on "Info On" (top middle of each pic), you will see the original names of each of the alums pictured. If you would like to download any of the pix, click on the little thumbnail versions of the pix. When the enlarged photo appears on the left, right click on it; hit "save as;" and determine where you would like it to be downloaded on your computer.

Memorial Service for Kathy

Here are the finalized plans for Kathy's memorial service.

It will be a memorial mass with Father Bob Barricks presiding. He is the pastor at Holy Family Catholic Church in Eastmoreland (which was the parish Kathy and her family lived in while in Portland). Fr. Bob is also on the Board of Trustees at La Salle and will be contacting Fr. Chun to see if he is available to assist as well.

This memorial mass will be Sunday, November 9th at 1:00 pm at

La Salle High School; in the new chapel (where the old library was).

After the mass, there will be a no-host gathering at Gustav's Restaurant to continue remembrances. We will have use of one room at the restaurant from about 2:30 to 3:30pm with the ability to stay longer by moving to the bar area. (Directions from La Salle to Gustav's: http://tinyurl.com/6ezty9)
